On 8 March Friends of Charlton Park ran a litterpick, together with members of the Sustainability Committee of legal publishers Law Business Research. The intrepid volunteers met in glorious spring sunshine - a welcome break after all the rain - and set off around the park to collect rubbish. FoCP also used this opportunity to meet some of the
sports groups using the park and asking them to join us in maintaining the park.
FoCP chair Annie Drewry said: "Huge thanks to the fantastic team from LBR who collected five bags of rubbish and supported members talking to park users about ideas to reduce the amount of waste in the park at weekends".
