Alex White finds Gold in Charlton Park

Well done Alex White who spotted a Gold Crest in Charlton Park as part of the RSPB Big Bird Watch.

Around 40 people took part in the Bird Watch with Connor, age 8, spotting a Great Spotted Woodpecker and thanks to the families that counted the 66 common gulls, terns and many herring gulls by the football pitches. A great way to spend an hour on a winter morning.

Also thanks to Kay who was inundated with Ring Necked Parakeets in Charlton Cemetery.
